Where no trust is given, none can be expected
In a time where the government of Idaho is suspect: A special session of the Idaho State Legislature has passed a resolution ending the state of emergency under which current governor Brad Little has exercised dictatorial powers with apparent impunity.
It is times like these that reaffirm one's faith in the governmental process ... to a point ... as this same legislature sat on their hands for months. During these many months the economy was attacked and nearly destroyed. During these many months patients died due to a gubernatorial ban on Hydroxychloriquine, a medication shown to have positive effects in the treatment of the Wuhan Virus. During these many months businesses deemed 'non-essential' by would-be emperor governor Brad Little have folded, never to return.
It's time to see if the governor has completely 'lost it' in a fog of assumed supreme authority. The people have spoken through their elected officials in both houses, and if this is considered non-binding, then we have a real problem. If the governor does not follow the decision of the legislature due to whatever loopholes in the law he can find, we will know for sure that it's time to depose this man.
Remember that Governor Brad Little is a man who holds the opinions and wishes of the people in disdain. Remember too that this man has obviously no respect or trust for or of the people who put him into office. If he doesn't trust us, then we cannot trust him.
I'm Max, and that's the way I see it!
