CATHOLICISM’S GREATEST SCANDAL?
The ultimate scandal as the USCCB
defies the Catechism itself.
Through the centuries the
Holy Roman Catholic Church has found scandal to be their constant
companion. Occurring almost exclusively
in the various Diocese of the church, there has been ongoing scandal longer
than any living being can remember.
There has been the
long-brewing, long-burning fire of sexual abuse and homosexuality in the
church’s library of scandals. To a
lesser extent, but no less serious, we’ve seen American Dioceses twist Vatican
II to their own evil ends. Again, look
to the various dioceses for scandal of nearly every form.
Let me remind you that the
Religious Orders of the church such as Franciscans, Benedictines, etc.
have been largely untouched by the pollution of truth promoted through the
various dioceses around the world.
Nowhere, however, has this blasphemy been promoted more widely than in
the United
States of America. Yes, in
matters of blasphemy and heresy, the United States Council of Catholic Bishops
(USCCB) ranks at the top of the list!
The most egregious of
scandals is the USCCB directly defying the
most basic and dogmatic tenets of the church.
They have mocked and ignored the 6th Commandment from the
Mosaic tablets and thousands of years of Catholic Doctrine. The 6th Commandment, for those of
you who aren’t up to speed, says, “Thou shalt not
kill.” Can you dig it?
Some would argue this does
not apply to the unborn, except that popes and church leaders as far back as
Jesus Christ himself, have roundly condemned the practice of killing anyone,
born or unborn. In the book of Luke 17:2,
the Lord himself says, “It were better for him that
a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he
should scandalize one of these little ones.”

The USCCB recently met to determine the status of
Catholics in high office who commit mortal sin yet regularly receive the Holy
Eucharist. For hundreds of years the Catechism
of the Catholic Church has made it abundantly clear that nobody in a state of
mortal sin may partake of the body and blood of Jesus Christ. In the Catechism of the Catholic Church,
Section 1415 states, “Anyone who desires to receive
Christ in Eucharistic communion must be in the state of grace. Anyone aware of having sinned mortally must
not receive communion without having received absolution in the sacrament of
penance.”
Anyone, politician or not, is
subject to this rule and most basic tenet of the church. The USCCB has broadly ignored these two
facts:
1. According to
church doctrine going back over the centuries, and instituted by Christ
himself, to take a human life is wrong.
The 6th Commandment from the Old Testament as well as
Christ’s own words from the New Testament make it clear that abortion is a sin,
indeed the sin of murder of the innocent, in direct violation of God’s will and
command.
2. As America’s President Joe Biden and America’s Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi ascribe to be
good and devout Catholics they still support the murder of the unborn at all
stages of life. They openly endorse
practices such as artificial birth control, and even euthanasia.
With such heresy as
challenging the very precepts of Catholic Doctrine, how
can they not be in a continuing state of mortal sin?
Each and every time a
Catholic partakes of Holy Communion while in a state of mortal sin, he or she
is committing sacrilege, a sin which can only be forgiven through a ‘tedious process of reconciliation beginning with priestly
confession”. According to the
Code of Canon Law, “Those
who … obstinately persist in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to
Communion” (Canon 915).
So it’s a ‘done deal’ where the USCCB stands, as every voting
member of the conference who upholds Biden’s and Pelosi’s right to Communion is
also in a state of mortal sin. Their
flimsy and undefendable excuse is that they do not wish to “politicise the issue”. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, murder is not
a political subject, nor is it defendable for any reason including the USCCB’s
wish not to ‘politicise’ the issue.
Let us pray for these
evil-doers, thorns in the garden of life, that they will come to realize that
the basic and dogmatic doctrine of the Holy Church is not subject to interpretation neither is it
variable or changeable.
