LIFE IN A “LET THEM EAT CAKE” NATION
When elected officials have no regard for us it’s time to rise up!
We’re living in a bizarre and nearly unbelievable state as the leadership continues to lie, deceive, and disrespect us all.
Our president disrespects us on all levels; financial, religious, and social levels. He puts himself above us all with statements such as, “Americans have been buying too many things. This is why we have supply chain problems.” It’s funny how he asks us to tighten our belts while he lives in the very lap of luxury.
We have a vice president who is totally clueless and lives the luxurious life of a vice president and does absolutely nothing to earn her salary and benefits. This flies in the face of the working men and women of this country, people who live by the fruits of their honest labours.
Then there’s the Speaker of the House who flaunts her ‘privilege’ at every given opportunity. While her entire staff [larger than the president’s] is masked up and vaccinated, she often works and speaks and plays without a mask. After all, she’s ‘special’.
How about the governor and capitol city mayor in Idaho? They refused to recognize Veterans Day and went through without so much as a press release. No, their privilege allows them to hide in their basements and flex their muscles at the expense of the people. Hell, the mayor of Boise allows gay rights parades but cancels Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and Veterans Day parades.
It’s obvious we’ve reached a “Let them eat cake.” moment in our history and its time to rise up!
