It’s not just a lack of support from people like Barack Obama, but also the fact that Kamala Harris is far from the only Democrat running for President.  That’s right.  Kamala has yet to be anointed Democrat Nominee even though she acts like she already is.

Here’s what’s happening right now.  The DNC is giving potential candidates until this Saturday to submit their paperwork.  Wait a minute … does this mean that Kamala has competition from within the party?  Yup!

Among other Democratic presidential hopefuls we see Hillary Clinton and Gavin Newsome.  The final vote and nomination won’t happen until the DNC Convention in Chicago next month.  This means the Democrat candidacy is still up for grabs, a horse race if you will.

Okay, we see Kamala stumping hard, assuming that she is the presumed Democrat nominee.  Not necessarily!  For the DNC to simply hand her the candidacy would negate every Democrat vote cast in the last primary.  Not everyone who voted for Joe Biden is as eager to vote for Kamala Harris.

In the case of Kamala, she’s a loser-in-the-wings just waiting to get her ass beat in the General Election.  She’s such an obvious loser that even Barack Obama won’t endorse her candidacy.  Not yet anyway!  According to Denae, a source close to the Obama family, “She [Kamala] can’t possibly beat Donald Trump.  We all feel that way.”  This pessimism resonates with a growing body of wealthy contributors who are not willing to back a loser.

Kamala v. Donald would be a gift to Donald Trump.  If you thought that Joe Biden was easy to beat, more’s the case with Kamala Harris.  Her approval ratings are the lowest of any vice president since polling began.  Donald Trump himself says that Kamala would be ‘a gift’, in the upcoming election.

Others in the wings like Hillary Clinton and Gavin Newsome pose very real competition.  Nominated, either of these two would offer a real challenge to Donald Trump.  Either one of these two people, assisted by the Democrat Cheat Machine, could well take the presidency.

In conclusion:  Go Kamala go!

President Biden is being geared up for the fight of his life where more than just policy is concerned.  Having suckled from the taxpayers’ teat for over 50 years he’s not about to drop what is without question the sweetest, cushiest job in the world.  Where else can you work only 15 to 23 percent of the time, shuttle to and from your Summer home, Camp David, and The White House all the while doing nothing but walking on the beach, falling down, eating ice cream, tripping and falling, freezing in a mental state of limbo, and did I mention ‘falling down’?

President Trump needs to keep on doing what he is doing and rely on policy, policy, and more policy.  The time for personal attacks is over and as Biden’s bile spews personal attacks on his opponent, it only costs him more and more votes every time he opens his mouth, whispers, falls down, freezes up, and did I mention ‘falling down’?

Our situation has made the U.S. the political, military, and social laughing stock of the world.

Every time I turn on the television I am bombarded with an odd confluence of presences.  We see it in print advertising, tv shows, local newscasts, and even motion pictures.  Now, I wouldn’t even have noticed let alone been bothered by this except that it is disproportional to reality.

Imagine if I were to feature a puppy or kitten in over 87% of television commercials and in virtually every motion picture.  Imagine if, to further narrow the odds, what we saw or heard only a puppy in nearly all tv shows, ads, public service announcements, motion pictures and even print advertising?

Right about there, flags would start flying.  This preponderance of ‘minor presences’ appearing out of the norm could not easily be attributed to mere chance.  Let’s kick this can down the road a little more shall we?

What if we always showed, just for the hell of it, a Black Labrador puppy beside a White Persian kitten in almost all of these ads and shows.  I don’t know about you, but it would really make me wonder just what sort of agenda was supporting such an odd confluence of animal identity.

Well, to top off these oddities let’s include these kittens and puppies in our ads and shows, never depicting the puppy as anything less than being totally superior to the kitten in all ways; morally, intellectually, physically, and even spiritually.

But, I anthropomorphize.  If this actually happened, don’t you think there’d be an uprising of cat lovers?  I know if I were a cat lover I’d be more than a little indignant.  How about you?

I never cease to wonder at the amazing nature and function of the English language.  It saddens me to see how so many people today, both young and old, have abandoned the beauty and form of this most excellent tongue.

I have long considered myself a wordsmith of sorts with seven (7) books in print and an unbroken internet blog of over seven (7) years.  Along with my six (6) years on radio I have really come to appreciate the vocabulary, grammar, structure, and sheer beauty of this tongue.

I hope others will continue to develop and hone their speech and writing skills.

We often overlook school board, city council, county assemblymen, state legislators and governors.  These elections are critical to the good running and efficiency of state government.  In our own state, the governor is complicit in any number of questionable decisions.  From taxing food and medicine to encouraging runaway property tax, our governor is a criminal at the helm.

We need to pay more attention to the actions, histories, and motives of candidates for these elected offices.  Yes, the federal elections are upon us and must not be ignored.  This requires diligence and discipline as you study the issues and act accordingly.

It’s more than a little disturbing how compliant Americans became under the mass hysteria of the Covid-19 era.  From masking, distancing, sheltering in place, supply chain shortages, and the overall air of fear, Americans failed to live up to their long unearned reputation of courage, creativity, and leadership.

Our nation was born out of rebellion and courage as we, the colonies of Great Britain chose freedom.  We challenged the largest and most powerful military power in the world … and we won!  While it was less than 5% of Americans who chose to fight the British, it was sufficient to defeat England through attrition.

Today I fear that 5% will not be sufficient as the forces of evil have crafted the hypochondria, paranoia, and germophobic nature which has overtaken the American persona by and large.

I salute the few who are still courageous, brave, and bold.  The rest of you can kiss my ass.

Joe’s family are the only people left who want him to run for a 2^nd term as president.  Nobody with a conscience or a measurable I.Q. wants to see 4 more years of Biden in the White House.  So, why is it that his family is determined to see him do another term?

It’s all about the money.  As a Senator, Joe’s reach was limited as were his opportunities to cajole, conspire, and otherwise bring fabulous fortune to him and his family.  Now, as President, his opportunities are almost limitless as is his reach.

With his henchman, Hunter Biden, out in the field Joe has managed to extort countless billions of dollars from foreign governments, major corporations, and wealthy individuals.  All of this money, by way of over 22 shell corporations around the world, finds itself back into the pockets of all members of the Biden Crime Cartel.

Joe is an empty shell, a shadow of his already dark past, and deserves to be put out to pasture.  It is only the greed and avarice of Jill, James, Hunter, Caroline, and a host of others who share the name “Biden” that keeps him in the public spotlight.

One term was far more than he deserved and we surely don’t deserve what he’s done to us.

"TO TIP OR NOT TO TIP?" ... THAT IS THE QUESTION!

I can remember when tipping was to thank folks for their good service.  A good waiter or waitress got a good tip while a poor waiter or waitress received a poor tip if they got one at all.  Well, that’s how it used to be.

Today we see more and more ‘shame tipping’ and ‘auto tipping’ going on and it makes me absolutely crazy.  When I order delivered goods from Walmart, if I’m not careful, they throw a driver tip onto the bill.  I don’t like this and will not engage in this ‘automatically assumed tipping’ practice.

There are many people who rely on tips to make a decent living.  Waiters and waitresses at diners and other fast-food sit-in restaurant are often exempt from the state’s minimum wage regulations, so tips are critical.  I tip cabbies, waiters and waitresses, delivery people, and even the kids at the concession counter of the local movie theater.

Do you remember when the ‘standard’ tip was 10%?  Remember when it crept up to 15%?  Do you know that it is creeping up to 20%?  Here’s flawed logic.  When I asked a waiter why the tip had gone up to 15% from 10% he said it was because of inflation.

Sure, things cost more now, including the serving cost at the restaurant.  The bill had gone up by about 10% so I think a 10% tip is still in order.  Had costs jumped more than that, a 10% tip would be even more extravagant and inflationary.  C’mon!

It’s tipping someone when they don’t expect the tip that makes me happy.  It’s tipping by my own choice that makes me happy.  It’s having a choice as to how much to tip and when to tip and whom to tip that is my God given right!

It is an insidious practice to ‘shame tip’ people.  It typically takes form when the clerk at the register asks if you want to contribute your change or a set amount to a particular charity.  I will and I do contribute to charities on a number of fronts, but when I am at the register with someone just leaving and another behind me I will not cave in to the pressure to ‘tip’ at the register.  I simply say, “I contribute by other means.”  I will not be shamed into tipping anyone!

I have managed to single out many merchants and diners that practice this insipid scam and I avoid them at all costs.  I will tip whom I will tip, and that’s all there is to be said.
