THE PERFECT HARD BOILED EGG

Aah, the elusive hard-boiled egg, I mean one that’s perfectly cooked, is a rare treasure indeed.  Here’s how to do it right:
A good egg peels in a single motion.

First: Bring your water to a boil.  Then drop in your eggs fresh and cold from the refrigerator and wait 4 minutes.  Make sure the water covers the eggs.  Next:  Remove the pot from heat and wait 14 minutes.  Next:  Drop those eggs into a bowl of ice cold water and wait 15 more minutes.  Again, make sure the water covers the eggs.  Finally:  Peel and enjoy the perfect boiled egg with its sunny yellow yolk, whiter than white egg white, and an amazingly easy peeling experience.
