In nurturing a friendship, when is enough … enough?

In the course of our lives we
have succeeded and failed in establishing friendships we have desired. Like a flower in a garden, we expect the
beauty of bloom and fragrance but, as with a budding friendship, sometimes we
have to stop fertilizing it and let it wither.
When is your ‘friendship capital’
so low that you really must back off and let things be? Only you know the answer.
