HOW ABOUT THAT STOCK MARKET

Have you ever heard of ‘black
box trading’? This is what most
stocks and futures are traded with. The
picture of hundreds of traders on a crowded floor in New York, barking and yelling aloud with a phone to their ear
and a hand full of tickets is far from today’s trading.
Nope, human decision has been
all but eliminated as algorithms within computer software do the buying and
selling that makes the stock market the world’s largest roulette wheel.

While there are occasional
moves by some to eliminate the fault-ridden, capricious, and often downright
crazy black box trading, it looks as though it’s here to stay. More’s the pity.

Remember this, “You’ve got
a better chance of hitting it big in the lottery than the stock market”.
