AS TAIWAN GOES SO GOES THE PACIFIC

The tiny island nation stands between freedom and tyranny.

It's a fact that Taiwan is an independent democratic nation.  From the very formation of this little country, Communist China has insisted on retrieving them.  Regarding Taiwan as an errant child who broke with the family decades ago, China is determined to see her 'child come home.'

Always hungry, wanting more and more, China's capture of Taiwan would send shockwaves around the world.  Other pacific nations such as Japan, Korea, and all of East Asia would find themselves in a more tenuous position.

As time goes on and the Chinese government grows more impatient, the danger of an invasion of the island becomes more and more a reality.  The one major obstacle to this is the United States Navy.

The United States must stand for the freedom of Taiwan even if it means inserting troops.  Yes, the Navy and Marines must stand ready.  Freedom isn't free.

Yes, I say 'Stole' because they didn't ask my permission but instead 'removed' the software from my computers.  For this I hope they burn in Hell where they belong.  I would even go so far as to sue them if I could find an attorney willing to take this case either on contingency or in a class action suit.

BIG BOX STORES' STUPIDITY & GREED

Replacing people with self-check hasn't worked out too well.

When big box stores like Walmart went to self-check it was thought [God knows what moron thought it would work] that it would cut costs by firing thousands of cashiers nationwide.  They thought [here comes that moron again] people would be on the honour system, and nobody would cheat in the self-check lanes.  Well, they thought wrong!

Especially in heavily minority populated areas, the theft [they call it 'shrinkage'] has more than quintupled [that means it's gone up by over 500%] as the self-check lanes invite theft of all kinds.

● There's the favourite old standby of simply not scanning everything that goes into the basket.  It'd work, but it's easy to get caught which is why only the really stupid do this.  When they walk out with a basket heaping with goods and pay only $10, something's gone wrong and it doesn't take a rocket scientist or account to figure out there's theft afoot.

● There's using an old receipt from a large purchase.  Many people just drop these on the ground as they leave the store so they're easy to get.  A thief simply picks up one dropped by someone with a lot of stuff, then he or she enters the store and fills a basket with stuff, scans a couple of things [when the lanes are full the one lone-gunman on patrol can't keep track of everyone] and walks out the door.  The Walmart rubber-guns see the receipt and, unable to read really well in English, lets it go.  The fault here is that you might run into an English speaking Native American with something better than a public school education, in which case you're busted!

● Then there's the cool and nearly unpredictable way of simply entering the wrong code when buying fruits and vegetables.  A bag of honey crisp apples may sell for notably less than a bag of Fuji or some other apples so you just enter the wrong code.  Easy?  Yes.  Mis-scanning also happens when you get your hands on a barcode for an item that isn't exactly as it seems.  How about buying a television set and scanning a barcode from a smaller model?  Einstein at the self-checkout isn't going to know a 50" from a 15" television; he or she just sees the code and that it's paid for.  Oh, how do you get the code?  I'll leave that up to your imagination and your mobile phone.

There's an answer to all of this and it seems to have completely slipped by the narrow-shouldered thimble-brained executives in the Ivory Tower of Bentonville and Boise.  That is the fact that hiring cashiers, training and paying them well, and eliminating self-checkout would reduce shrinkage to a fraction of what it has become.  Your friendly neighbourhood cashier has the ability to see that there are two watermelons and a DVD player under the shopping cart.  He or she deals with customer's one-at-a-time instead of standing watch over as many as a dozen people at once.

Yes, hired help is expensive, but so is the loss of goods to the unscrupulous who simply don't adhere to the 'honour system' of self-checkout.  People without honour will always beat 'honour' systems.

CANINE KILLERS … TICKING TIME BOMBS!

These are dogs that should never be ‘rescued’, but rather exterminated.

Pitt Bulls, Mastiffs, Dobermans, Boxers, Huskies, Bull Dogs, and Rottweilers are at the top of the list of dangerous canines.  Any of them are capable of tearing your throat out.  The very young, very old, and invalid are natural targets for these Canine Killers. 

DOGS ARE PREDATORS

Every hour of every day one of these killers-on-four-legs assassinates or cripples someone in this country.  All of this could be avoided with a little pest control.  What do I mean by ‘pest control’?  I mean the extermination of at least these seven breeds and any other dog that mauls, disfigures, cripples, or kills a human being without good cause!  I mean really good!

Good Cause: In Defence of Human Life

I watch ASPCA ads showing Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and other dogs, some of them killer breeds.  Rather than ‘rescue’, we need to kill them in an efficient and humane way.  As many countries including the UK have already done, we need laws against possession of any of these killer breeds.

Americans are largely Cynophiles, that is they have an unnatural and unhealthy attraction to dogs.  Their canine love borders on the psychotic as they convince themselves that ‘their’ dog is sweet and loving and could never hurt anyone … stupid, stupid, stupid.

Dr. Guiliat, DVM, Ph.,D. is an animal behaviour specialist who has spent more than 30 years studying the genetics and behaviour of canines.  From the Timber Wolf to the Toy Poodle, he’s got a handle on them all.

Dr. Guiliat says, “There are some breeds of dog that are genetically flawed, leaving them to exhibit violence without cause.  Breeding of Pit Bulls for example has made them intrinsically violent and downright mean.”

He goes on to say, “People listen too much to unqualified comrades, associates, friends, and even family when they are told these animals are just fine as long as they are reared in a loving, safe, and reasonably stern environment.  Nothing could be further from the truth.”

These dogs, and others, only need a second to ‘snap’ and become killing machines.  Psychotic breaks among these breeds are common and incurable.  Too many gullible owners wait until a loved one or a neighbour is mauled or killed by their dog before they wake up to the obvious.  Some, however, are so completely Cynophile as to believe ‘it’ll never happen again’.

Wake up folks, these animals are out to destroy, kill, and even eat the weak, young, invalid, and elderly as they are natural predators, and it cannot be bred out of them.

Harley owners in particular love to make their bikes as noisy as they can.

There's a certain quirk, a slight aberration in behaviour if you will, common most Harley Davidson motorcycle owners.  It seems they just can't buy it from the dealer and leave it the hell alone.  No, they seem determined to change the pipes for noisy ones.  They seem to think that noisier is better, but that's not the case.

A theory that a noisier bike is easier to notice if you are driving a car holds no water.  The frequency range in which these sputtering, stammering, roaring motorcycles in below human ability to track it.  Like a bass speaker on your stereo, it just fills the air with a noise that cannot be tracked with the human ear.

The result of all of this is that these bikes are entirely too loud and, like Harley Davidsons through the years, they are hardly endowed with a great dependability.  No, the old expression goes like this, "Whenever you see a Harley Davidson it's owner is trying to get it started, having it put on the back of a truck, or just 'rapping it up' to show off.

Well, to all of you Harley Davidson riders who love it loud.

Former House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, another extreme liberal Democrat from Maryland, has said that that he has also been evicted from his little hideaway office in the Capitol.  His Wednesday deadline is in line with that of former Speaker of the House Nancy "Nazi" Pelosi.

It's about time fairness began to return to the House as Patrick McHenry has made his initial moves as Acting Speaker.  These are moves which require courage.  Yes, it's a brave act to go up against anyone who can bury you alive with federal investigations, police raids, limitless court appearances, and ridiculous press of such an insidious nature as to completely assassinate your character.

Three cheers for Patrick McHenry!

Let's sit back and see if this continues or if it just peters out in the face of Democrat oppression.

So many courageous men and women have given their lives to keep us free, or at least 'nearly free'.  Today we live in a police state, having surrendered most of our freedoms and given the government a free hand.  Our speech is muzzled, our firearms are under threat of confiscation, our homes and businesses are no longer free from unreasonable search and seizure ... and the list goes on.

You're the reason why.  Shame on you all!

They met at a football game and the crowd went wild!

The Pope and Hillary Clinton met at a football game.  The Pope turned to Hillary and said, "You know, with just the sweep of my hand I can bring everyone here to their feet in joy."  Hillary's snide response was, "Huh, I'd like to see that!"  So, with the sweep of his hand the Pope knocked Hillary off the bleachers to the ground.

Our shame & ignorance

So much ado about a word.  What's wrong with us?

RELUCTANTLY PRODUCED WITH CHIPCHAMP® AND IT SUCKS!

It seems a bunch of high school students at Salmon High School decided to pull a prank in very bad taste, but that's all ... it's just in bad taste.  So, how can the media make such a huge thing out of something not at all huge?

●It all centres around the word "N!gg@r"●

Did you see how I cleaned up that racial slur so much maligned and persecuted in this country?  What ever happened to "Sticks & Stones?"  Good God, words can never harm me, but it seems there are enough snowflakes out there to feign or realize pain from the presence of the word.

Here's a picture of some kids standing in a row wearing T-shirts, 6 of them, with a single letter on the front.  The students stood shoulder-to-shoulder and those 6 shirts spelled out N-I-G-G-@-R.  Yes, that thermonuclear word, "n!gg_r" has risen to page one even on the New York Post, a generally conservative publication but one still woke enough to grab onto this nothing-burger of a story.

The children are being punished for what amounts to 'poor taste', and that 'mixed-race' girl the post screams out about was fully complicit and found no insult or injury.  She can be seen as a willing participant.
