TIT FOR TAT
Mutual Trade Tariffs are a good
idea.

President Trump is
proposing matching foreign markets’ tariffs on all goods traded. He needs to do that and a whole lot more. I lived in China for over 15 years and spent a good number
of years in India as well.
Here’s what I noticed:
To buy an American
made car in China is extremely expensive as China slaps all auto imports with a 110% import
tariff. Likewise they have tariffs
ranging from 70% to 110% on Japanese and Korean goods and electronics. Across the board the protectionist tariffs do
the job since it’s nearly impossible to buy any American, Japanese, European-made
item for that matter.
In Europe it’s equally impossible to buy American made cars,
etc. This is due to their own ‘China-esque’
tariffs of 80% to over 100% on all American built cars and goods in general.
These countries
have long enjoyed super low tariffs or no tariffs at all when they sell their
goods in America, but when America wants to sell to these people … here come the tariffs.
Negotiations
between the U.S. and foreign nations for trade are about to
begin and need to be completely revamped.
This is no longer the Joe and Kamala show. Thank God for that!
I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
