WHEN JUDGES THINK THEY ARE GODS
An investigation into a sitting county judge … by Laura Petrie

Judge Diane Walker of
This Boston-born Oregon-educated judge is alleged to have repeatedly displayed erratic and deeply disturbing behavior in innumerable court sessions. There are those in her circle who say that her erratic behavior, alarming prejudices, and ‘highly questionable judgments’ betray her as incompetent and vindictive. Some go so far as to label her emotionally unhinged.
Being a domestic court judge grants one a lot of leeway, wiggle room if you will, in making decisions, passing judgment, and in general demeanor and decorum as he or she presides over the lives of those who stand before them, victims of the bench.
Numerous witnesses and co-workers report that she doesn’t walk, but rather swaggers in and out of the courtroom as she flaunts her narcissistic airs. Many recount that she oozes hubris from every pore. One clerk says, “This woman is the very image of narcissism. Her exaggerated sense of self-worth puts her completely out of touch with all of us.” Another co-worker says, “Don’t even challenge this woman in or out of the courtroom. It’ll bring Hell itself down on you.”
Does her power and privilege somehow fuel the engines of her judgmental anger? A broad-based audit of her court cases may reveal just how deeply seated her alleged mental disfunction is.
“’Tis noble to be a judge.”
“’Tis noble to be a judge.” Apparently, this statement of fact has not eluded Judge Diane Walker. Is it that she understands, fully enjoys, and even basks in the powers bestowed upon her? Does she lord her authority over her subjects like a queen holding court? Is it true that she spits out lengthy tirades while perched upon the bench of injustice? Are her alleged tantrums and outbursts designed to inflict as much financial, mental, and emotional damage as possible?
Have innumerable men, women, and children been emotionally flogged, slashed and beaten with the sharp tongue and heavy gavel of a judge run amok? If so, how many have suffered at the behest of a cruel and vindictive woman granted almost godlike powers? How many times has the drop of a gavel destroyed lives?
Sorting through numerous judge-victim horror stories I have chosen one for the sake of time and expedience. This case resembles so many others and could be called ‘atypical’. The victim is “David”. [his true name is omitted for his safety].
He says, “I was in a divorce from Hell where she [Judge Walker] presided. She completely
dismissed the evidence I had to offer, refusing everything across the
board. She wouldn’t even give it a
glance!
I couldn’t understand this because my evidence had videotapes, photos, and even the sworn testimonies of two witnesses. I thought I had enough to beat her [my wife] on moral and criminal charges alone. At least I thought so. My private investigator, no stranger to criminal justice, thought so too. Man were we in for a surprise!
I paid this private investigator to put together fool-proof evidence that my wife cheated on me on numerous occasions and was selling illegal drugs. But it wasn’t happenin’ because she [Judge Walker] hated me from the git-go. From the minute she saw me she hated me. I could see it in her eyes. And I still don’t know why.
In
her summary from the bench, she went into what a lot of folks call, one of her thermonuclear events. She spent more than 15
minutes berating me, insulting me, and laughing between angry outbursts. One minute she’d be mad as hell and the next
she’d be laughing or quietly giggling under her breath. It was like outta a bad movie, what with her
shifting gears from crazy-angry to even crazier-happy as she laughed and almost
cried all the while. Today I’m still afraid
of her. I no longer live in
She hated me from the minute she saw me and that’s just not fair. I mean, police aren’t allowed to profile people but this judge does it all the time. As soon as she saw me she shifted into ‘pit bull mode’ and I didn’t stand a chance.”
David offered this
testimony under the cloak of secrecy. Even
though he no longer lives in
Is this who you want on the bench deciding the futures of families and individuals with such an “I am God” attitude? Do you really want a judge who can disallow evidence, however concrete, because she has taken a personal disliking of a complainant or defendant?
The purpose of this article is not just to ‘vote her out’ by coloring in the box that says “NO”, we don’t want her back for 4 more years. No, this article is intended to strike a spark in government sufficient as to at least trigger an audit of her performance and behaviour especially over the last 4 years of her reign. An in-depth review of her court transcripts might prove to be illuminating.

or judge allows the power vested to grow to the exercise of illicit power, there’s
a problem. There’s a real problem. Remember the words of Famed Historian Lord
Acton, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”
Has this woman’s eleven-year tenure corrupted her? Has her license to pretty much do as she pleases corrupted her morals and judgment? Are the many decisions of Judge Diane Walker so painted with the heavy coat of hubris as to beg review and appeal of every single case?
WHEN IN DOUBT, VOTE HER OUT.
THERE IS SUFFICIENT DOUBT AS TO DO SO.
VOTE HER OUT OF OFFICE IN THIS ELECTION.
DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION INTO HER CONDUCT.
