The truth is terrible and that is that home or property ownership in America is a pipe dream and not a reality.  Whether your home is a 34-acre country estate or a flat on the 6^th floor, you do not own your property.  I don’t really give a damn if you have a deed to your property.  The fact is that if you skip paying your property tax, the state will drag you out of your home, dump your possessions on the street, and sell your property to the highest bidder.
