WHEN DO WE STOP THE INSANITY!

Our insane love affair with dogs is literally coming back to bite us!

Dateline Cúcuta, Colombia – Another person sufficiently naïve as to trust a Pit Bull Terrier has paid the price.  As she pays for this in blood, tears, and lifelong disability we as a people pay for it in more widespread and insidious ways.

There is no justification for these breeds to exist!

Another victim to the more vicious breeds of animal has fallen to the jaws of death, the hold and shake, unique to the king of killer breeds; the American Pit Bull Terrier.  Pit Bulls are literally loaded guns with hair triggers and it takes very little to ‘set one off’.

Gruesome security video shows a 25 year old woman viciously mauled in an elevator by her own ‘pet’ Pit Bull.  This animal, as seen in the video, has experienced a psychotic break common to the breed.  This is not a matter of rearing or training, but one of a broken gene strain common in the breed.  Doctor Trevor McDonald, DVM says, “The Pit Bull is, by breeding and genetics, a dangerous animal and does not make a suitable house pet.  In my practice we will not treat these animals because of the threat they pose to our staff and other patrons.  Owning a Pit Bull is not unlike owning a loaded gun with an extremely sensitive hair trigger.  It takes very little, or even nothing at all, for it to ‘go off’.”

Local law requires that all ‘dangerous breed’ dogs must be muzzled and leashed when taken out and, according to neighbours, the woman ‘almost always’ muzzled and leashed her animal when taking it out of the house.  She dropped her guard and this time paid a horrific price.  Ignorance has consequences.”

Only when we take off the rose coloured glasses of canine love will we realize the threats in the land, on the streets, and in our homes and businesses.  Only then will we move as many cities and countries have by banning these breeds outright!

I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!

P.S.  Just how much risk are you willing to take with these animals when so many thousands of people are mauled or killed by them.  From infants all the way up to soldiers, these animals have no limits.  Being subject to psychotic breaks, there's no real controlling them.  Most folks get lucky, but many don't.  Think about it!
