BOY LASER PRINTS A PROSTHETIC HAND

This eight-grade boy made an artificial hand for a friend in need.

Dateline Medford, New Jersey – Sammy Salvano, aged 14, used a 3D printer to make a prosthetic hand for his friend, Ewan Kirby who is missing most fingers of one hand.  Young Kirby says it’s the first time he’s been able to pick up his mother’s car keys.

Young Salvano hopes to be an engineer one day and he’s certainly on his way.  I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
