FREEDOM OF THE LAMB
Lucky the Lamb is ‘on the lam’ at the University of Utah
Yes, ‘ewe’ ought to pay attention to this story. In another ‘animal on the loose’ story our subject is a lamb. I am often a little ‘sheepish’ to deliver a plea for clemency for escaped livestock, but here I go.
Dateline University of Utah – A lamb brought in as a research subject has escaped a terrible fate … at least for now. University officials said the ewe was one of five lambs brought to the James L. Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building, where researchers use lambs to study the infectious disease malaria.

Still ‘on the lam’, our little sheep remains on the loose according to university spokesman Chris Nelson. "It pushed past people, and they were trying to get it but couldn't." he said.
My response is, “Good!” This lamb needs a reprieve, a commutation of sentence, and when caught it should be put on a farm where it can romp, play, and escape the scourge of Malaria. I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
