WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CLEAN SHAVEN, WELL GROOMED, AND WELL DRESSED POLICE? Gone are the days when the bar was set so high that only a few applicants of the highest quality could fill these shoes.

WHAT EVER  HAPPENED TO ‘ADAM 12’ POLICE?

Something is happening to our police forces today, and it’s not a good thing.

Gone are the days when police had grooming standards, wore clean and pressed uniforms, and followed strict protocols of supervision in order to ‘serve & protect’.  Today I see police officers with tattoos up and down the arms, on the necks, and even on their faces.

Police are no longer clean shaven, but sport various amounts of facial hair.  The clean haircut and well-worn uniform have gone the way of civility and trust.

Call me old-fashioned, but it seems there’s a very real degradation of appearance and quality on today’s police forces.  I have to ask this one question; “What ever happened to Adam 12?”
