Looking at America’s election turmoil I wonder. I see the great sentinel of freedom in turmoil no different than that of many 3rd world nations. The orderly election process to transfer power by the people has long been held sacred by and what separates America from many lesser nations.
On the outside looking in, I am awe stricken at the American electoral process and its ‘rules of order’, long held sacred. Recently I watched these ‘rules of order’ disregarded at the behest of myriad governors and courts. Although in violation of state constitutions and laws, many state leaders saw fit to disregard the ‘rules of order’.
To me, on the outside, America has long been the great hope, dream, and very ambition of the rest of the world. This great land has served as a beacon of freedom and a sentinel of security for hundreds of years. For those around the world it has always been ‘America the Beautiful’.
The general elections of 2016 and 2020 witnessed undeniable and unexplainable irregularities on both sides of the political fence, wondering how widespread and systemic these problems might be. All is confusion and confusion is of the devil. All is in disarray and disarray is the bastard child of chaos. Americans faith in the electoral system is at an all-time low. Recent surveys show that fewer than 1-in-10 Americans have confidence in government!
Most Americans are in dismay when asked about their nation’s future. It’s strange to me that so many Americans remain wilfully ignorant of the problems besieging them with an apathy bordering on Mortal Sin.
In summary, the problem in America is not one of election fraud, illegal activities, media propaganda, or deliberate lies by their government. The problem is that Americans have turned away from their God. They value creature comfort above that of spiritual readiness.
Unless Americans turn their eyes, while on their knees, to their creator they will be doomed to follow the path of Socialism. Socialism is the gateway to Communism and Communism is Hell!
I don’t know what is next, I am a sage. I am not a prophet. I pray for knowledge and I pray for wisdom. Please pray with me.
