ANOTHER DARWIN AWARD CANDIDATE

Imagine wearing an open blade knife around your neck.

A necklace of death, an ornament of stupidity.  Can you imagine wearing an open bladed knife around your neck as an ornament?  Good God man!  You'd think they were out of machetes and chainsaws!

Every death is tragic, but when it is from something so overtly stupid as this, maybe it's not such a bad thing.  If this story had come from a tabloid I might not believe it, but the article appears in the New York Post, one of America's most respected news sources.

It was in the parking lot of a restaurant, and he quite probably had one-too-many as he walked out to his car.  If you're even a little tipsy, you might fall against a car or trip.  Falling or tripping would make it really for this knife to flip over and gut the wearer.  Sad, even tragic, but a blade of idiocy is deserved.

Remember, this is Massachusetts which has the most inbred population in America.  Yes, more even than West Virginia or Tennessee, Massachusetts has the highest percentage of inbreds.  Maybe this had something to do with a guy draping an open bladed knife around his neck as jewellery.

Okay, with that said and done I guess it's time for me to put on my hand grenade necklace and go back to work.
