 WHERE THERE’S LIFE THERE’S HOPE

Extraordinary measures are always a human right

The Abraham Fixsler family is fighting to save their daughter from the UK courts who have ordered her killed.  After nearly 2 years of wrangling, British courts have ordered the plug be pulled on a little girl fighting for her life at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Little Alta Fixsler, aged 2, is on a ventilator and requires a feeding tube for nourishment.  An international wrestling match has begun over the life of this little girl.  Her dad is an American, and wants his daughter taken out of England all together.  Meanwhile, British doctors don’t want her to live, but want to pull the plug instead.  Could it be because the government wants to save money?  Social Medicine” … need I say more?

Were it not for the fact that Alta’s father, Abraham Fixsler, is a native of Brooklyn, he might not have the clout necessary to thwart the evil designs of the UK courts.  There is no reason to kill my daughter like this,” he insists.

Enter Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, New York Democrat, and the picture has changed.  He is fighting to have the little girl flown to the U.S. where she will receive significantly better health care than in the UK.

We are all praying for the little girl to be flown to the U.S. where she will receive superior medical care and have the best chance at a normal life.

I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
