 FLYING THE 'UNFRIENDLY SKIES'

Alec MacLeod’s books, “Picasso of Pain” a ‘must buy’ at Amazon.com

Dateline Sandiego International Airport – Southwest Storm Trooper gets a beating from an unruly ‘prisoner’ … oh, I’m sorry, I meant ‘passenger’.

Over the course of the last couple of years airlines such as Southwest seem to be on a mission to keep the skies unfriendly as possible.  More and more reports of the ‘nazi-like’ behaviour of their flight crews keep popping up.

From tossing a family off the plane under suspicion that their infant child ‘might not wear his mask while on the flight’ to tossing off a number of Jews because they somehow cannot eat without taking off their masks.

When you put these underpaid, unqualified, and improperly trained people in charge, giving them literal ‘Gestapo authority’ there will be repercussions.  Decisions have consequences.”  I’m not endorsing violence on board any aircraft and I find such action reprehensible.  However, I’m not at all surprised that some jack-booted thug in a flight crew uniform got the crap beat out of him or her.

Until airline companies like Southwest get a handle on training their people to deal with passengers as humans, not as prisoners these beatings will probably increase in frequency and severity.

I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
