I ask this question, and I do so with minimal respect because these bastards don’t deserve my respect! Here we go: “Why don’t the TSA and FAA just issue flight crews with guns, badges, pepper spray, and handcuffs?” It’d sure as hell give clear definition to the purpose and mission of these underpaid, poorly trained, and power hungry high flying bellhops. We know them as flight attendants, not mask police. Oops, I guess they are the mask police. Sucks doesn’t it!
In recent days, citing federal rules and regulations, flight crews of Southwest Airlines have unceremoniously booted families from the plane because their infant children either aren’t wearing a mask, or are suspected of not being able to keep a mask on for the duration of the flight. Yes “Suspicion of mask violation” will get you booted. Suspicion!
I wonder if these silly pieces of crap read the woman or her kids their rights before kicking them off the plane. Oh, that’s right, there are no rights on planes and it’s all at the ‘captain’s’ discretion. Really?
If there were rights they might read like this: “You have the right to remain silent. Any excuse you make will fall on deaf ears and only infuriate our flight crew. Anything you say will be used against you as we will interpret it as verbal abuse. You have the right to obey us blindly and get the hell off our plane at first request. You will be besieged by overweight airline security and dragged off the plane only to face possible federal charges if you don’t listen to, follow, and support these rights immediately and without question”.

Frankly, I think we’ve given these ‘high flying bell hops’ far too much leeway and authority. I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
