CANCEL STUDENT DEBT? A BAD IDEA!
With exorbitant education costs, is debt forgiveness a good idea?
Over the decades the education industry has sucked the life’s blood from parents and students alike. Their relentless propaganda has brought a college education to the forefront of worth as a citizen. In sync with this has been the advent of escalating student debt. Now the Democrats want to forgive this debt. Is this such a good idea?
Dr. Hamilton Spence, Ph.D. says, “Forgiveness of student debt is a complex issue. If you forgive unpaid debt to those who owe, then what are you to do with those who have faithfully paid their student debt? It’s a matter or fairness. The cost of forgiving outstanding debt and reimbursing the faithful runs into the trillions of dollars. Simply put, we cannot afford this.”

Student debt is voluntary debt. Nobody twisted their arm or forced them to go to college and go into debt for this. In the last presidential election hundreds of thousands of young people voted for Biden in hopes of having their student debt erased. These are mostly Bachelors of Science in largely ludicrous majors such as ‘African American Women’s Studies’, ‘Musicology’, ‘Racial Studies’ and a host of other insanely inane majors. Those who have incurred debt need to pay it back, plain and simple.
If I borrow money for any reason, I have made a commitment to pay it back. So how is it that we, as a nation, can even consider the idea of wiping out student debt? If nothing else, the cost would ‘break the bank’.
