CHINA’S LIST OF DEFECTORS GROWS!

First they lost their ‘spy-hunter’ and now their hypersonic missile designer

When China’s ‘spy hunter’ defected to the west in mid-February of 2021 it proved more than a simple inconvenience for Beijing.  The one man with the most knowledge of China’s espionage in the world was now spilling his guts to the US Central Intelligence Agency.

Having barely recovered from this sting, another equally serious event has occurred.  Chinese Hypersonic Missile Scientist Tong Hu has defected to the west.  In this most recent embarrassing defection the one man who knows more about China’s Hypersonic Missile programme than anyone else is in the tender loving care of the US Central Intelligence Agency.

Chinese correspondent, Jang Lin, tells us more:  [insert audio]

Leading Chinese rocket scientist Tong Hu has defected to the west.  The 35 year old scientist and his family are now safe in the west.  Our sources tell us he and his family are in the safe keeping of the Central Intelligence Agency.  He is believed to be of pivotal importance in China’s recently unveiled hypersonic missile technology.

The scientist has led research on China’s mid-range hypersonic boost-glide vehicle, a technology designed to circumnavigate the planet and deliver a payload anywhere on earth.   Beijing claims he defected out of anger over not being promoted within his job.  Others close to him say it was a moral decision as he had become outspoken over the deadly potential of his efforts.

On September 21 of last year he approached British Intelligence in Hong Kong.  He told them that he had information critical to the defence against China’s new hypersonic missiles.  Certain that he would face execution and his family imprisonment if he was caught, the scientist demanded asylum for himself, his wife, and his child.

Who knows what this will tell for our future?  What we do know is that China has lost their top developmental scientist in their ongoing hypersonic missile programme.  We know that China’s programme will be set back at least 2 years as a result.  Finally, we know that three more people have escaped the clutches of Communist China and that the West is a little bit safer.
