This is far too common to be acceptable. Dateline Katy, Texas – A woman’s pit bull [yep, one of them] turned on her and mauled her hand. Seemingly without warning the animal turned on its owner and went for blood. Only the woman’s persistent defence saved her from the ‘hold and shake’ death grip of the animal’s jaws.
The woman was airlifted in critical condition and has had most of her right hand amputated by surgeons. Meanwhile the dog is in custody awaiting disposition. My opinion is this animal must be put down. Once any dog, especially the dreaded Pit Bull, tastes blood ‘it’s all over’ for anyone in range of its ravenous desires.

She was bitten multiple times leaving doctors no choice but to partially amputate the limb. That sucks, in a big way! When are we going to eradicate the entire breed? When will the people of America wake up and realize they have bred a breed that has become a menace?
I say, “Kill ‘em all.” And if the animal shelter holding this dog will just pay for the bullets I’ll put it down myself. I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
