Max Allen and Nate Shelman of KBOI Radio discuss the sentencing of Derek Chauvin, the former police officer found guilty of killing felon George Floyd. We agreed it was a crime although I voiced that the sentence was excessive. We closed with an understanding that 'victim testimony' before a sentencing hearing is wrong.
Impassioned testimony only serves to sway the judge emotionally. A sentence needs to be based on facts, not emotion. I'm Max, and that's the way I see it!
