JULY IS EUROPEAN HERITAGE MONTH
This is a month to celebrate our proud European heritage.
From across the Atlantic Ocean the intrepid European explorers came. They opened up this land and brought it to untold glory and accomplishment. Our founding fathers, all Europeans, wrote a Constitution which guaranteed certain human rights to all. They gave us the Constitutional Republic in which we now live.
The list of laudable Americans of European extraction would fill volumes. We need to honour these men and woman for the greatness they have endowed us with. My favourite would certainly be Benjamin Franklin, probably the greatest genius the world has ever known.
So, be proud of your European heritage and hold your head up high. Our flag is the flag of the United States of America, which was designed by Americans of European extraction.
