Not welcome aboard ISS, China has built her own space station.
Dateline Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre, Gobi Desert, China – China is ready to send 3 astronauts to a newly constructed space station. Unwelcome aboard the International Space Station [ISS] the Chinese have built their own, not to be denied a place in space.
Shenzhou 12 is the name of their latest space launch, and it will send three men – Nie Hai Sheng, Liu Bo Ming, and Tang Hong Bo into earth orbit where they will dock with and occupy their new home, the Tian He Space Habitat.
This new space station has features gleaned from the product of western space travel and offers superior comfort, a little more ‘leg-room’ and other things not available on ISS. This will be China’s longest crewed space mission and their first in nearly 5 years. The currently capsule sits atop a Long March booster rocket at the space centre even as I write this article. Lift-off is scheduled tomorrow.

In the past six months, China has retrieved rock and soil samples from the lunar surface, and landed a six-wheeled robot on Mars - both highly complex and challenging endeavours.
Well, for good or bad we have a new neighbour in space. I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
