LOST REMBRANDT PAINTING DISCOVERED
Had it not fallen off the wall, nobody would have known.
Dateline Italy – When an old painting fell off the wall, its owner sent it in for repairs and restoration. What he had no way of knowing was that this painting, The Adoration of the Magi, was a Rembrandt work long believed lost to the world, and painted around 1632AD.
As it was being restored the restorer recognized it as a lost Rembrandt. The owners have no interest in selling it, but will later make it available to museums and galleries so the public can share this priceless painting.
What a wonderful coincidence. Or was it a coincidence? Being a man of science I do not believe in ‘coincidence’ and feel there was some other ‘hand’ in the discovery of this painting.
I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
