WHY? FOLLOW THE MONEY
A governor’s ulterior motive to keep Idaho in a state of emergency.
Governor Brad Little has refused to lift the ‘state of emergency’ he imposed on Idahoans nearly 2 years ago. The length of this condition speaks volumes not about the severity of the pandemic, but the greed and lust for power of a big fish in a little pond.
Reasons for Little’s power grab and virtual elimination of the state’s legislature are clear:
● As long as Idaho remains in a state of emergency, federal funds continue to pour in. This money is largely unspent and sitting in the coffers of the state. Brad Little often boasts of how much ‘emergency money’ Idaho has. He refuses to mention that every dollar in this fund has strings attached. The federal government’s greatest power in Idaho is its money. Little has surrendered to the feds.
● As long as the state of emergency remains, he has ultimate power in the state and do whatever he wants. His failure as a governor is hidden in the secretive and light-proof shield of privilege he wields as the ‘Supreme Commander’ of Idaho.
There’s an election brewing next year, and this may be Idaho’s last chance to divest themselves of this power-hungry, angry, dictator. Get out and vote! Vote your conscience, but vote against Brad Little!
