VIOLENT STUDENT BRAWLS NEED ACTION!
Increasing violence in government-run schools must be stopped!
There can be no doubt that school violence has risen dramatically, and that it continues to do so. The problem is that there is no ‘incentive’ for kids to stop fighting at school. When I was a kid and a fight broke out in school it was never more than two or three kids going at it in what eventually turned into a wrestling match on the ground.
Today these fights often involve dozens of kids with knives, clubs, pepper spray, and even guns! Rather than wrestle on the ground demanding someone call “Uncle”, kids will quickly kick you when you’re down. Stomping on someone or even kicking a girl in the stomach is common practice in the lawless world of government-funded and run public education.
The New York Post ran an excellent story on one such fight, and included some rather disturbing video footage. Click here: https://nypost.com/2021/10/23/videos-capture-extent-of-student-brawls-at-queens-high-school/
When students were physically punished ala paddling, strapping, or the cane this didn’t happen. Kids knew that if they got into a serious fight as today’s little b@stards do, they’d get the crap beaten out of them by either the principal or one of the hefty physical education coaches.
When corporal punishment left the schools is when their downhill slide into anarchy began. If we expect to stop this and turn the trend around we don’t need more officers with guns. We don’t need more social workers or counsellors. What we need is swift, painful, lasting punishment.
I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
