ANOTHER CHILD FATALLY MAULED
A little boy was mauled to death by a recently purchased pet dog.
Unbelievable is the ignorance of Americans when it comes to their almost pathological love of dogs. Their misplaced affection clouds their judgment to the point that it endangers and even takes lives.
Dateline Creek County, Oklahoma – A 7 year-old boy was mauled to death by a dog the family had obtained from a rescue organization. They rescued the dog alright. They rescued a deadly predator only to introduce it to their family.

Only a few weeks after buying this animal [I don’t ascribe to the politically correct term ‘adopted’] little James McNeelis was reported missing. He had been called to dinner and was not responding so his father, Michael, looked and found his son dead in the back yard. Their newly acquired Shetland Sheepdog-Corgi mix had slaughtered their child.
This is tragic, but could have been avoided with just a little common sense. Dogs are predators by nature, and should never be trusted alone with anyone small enough or weak enough to be identified as prey. Dad and Mom lost their child. What a horribly expensive way to learn what they should have already known.
