NEW LEASE ON LIFE FOR LENNY
A rare orange coloured lobster gets a new lease on life
Dateline Scottsdale, Arizona – A lobster with an unusual bright orange colouration has been spared from being boiled by the folks at Nobu Japanese Restaurant. The staff noticed that the lobster’s bright orange colour stood out from the others in a recent delivery.
Impressed by the beauty of this lobster they contacted a local aquarium and donated it, rather than kill it.
Aquarium officials said ‘Lenny’ will live longer at the aquarium than he would in the wild, as the bright colouration would likely draw extra attention from predators. Congrats to ‘Lenny’ the Lobster and all those who get to watch him in his new home.
