We’re repeating the failure of our past.
When the China Virus first became evident our government, largely media driven, locked the nation down in an unprecedented manner. Shops closed, never to open again. Restaurants were shuttered. Any number of businesses and workers were labelled ‘non-essential’.
At the close of the worst of it all, we realized we’d made a terrible mistake. We vowed not to do it again … until … the dreaded Delta Variant began to spread. The masking, social distancing, and lock-downs of the past failed to do anything to stop the virus. Many scientists and medical experts believe these policies actually helped to perpetuate the effects of the original strain, leading to more injury and death.
Now as the media is ramping up for their next profit-making blitz, the people turn an angry and suspicious eye asking, “If we have the vaccine, why do we need to keep wearing masks?” The only possible conclusion is even more angering. That is that the vaccines simply don’t work.
If we repeat all the failed policies of the past 2 years, expecting different results, doesn’t that make us all insane?
