VOTE FOR THE FILTHY RICH! THEY MAY CHEAT AND LIE, BUT THEY PROBABLY WON'T ROB YOU!

 WHO IS RUNNING FOR OFFICE?

GIVE ME A RICH CANDIDATE EVERY TIME!

When I look at a candidate running for office, I look for the richest one.  Say what?  It’s a fact that if a candidate is already filthy rich, he or she has far less incentive to get richer in office.  It’s a fact that the majority of our politicians, especially in Washington, get rich far beyond their salaries while in office.  From speaking deals to back room deals they get richer.

Barack Obama entered office with a net worth of far less than half a million dollars but left office worth well over 100 Million dollars.  Lyndon Johnson entered the White House in debt and left worth well over 50 Million dollars.  Isn’t it amazing what you can do clipping coupons from the Sunday papers?

Given the fact that a president’s salary is far, far below these huge amounts you have to ask yourself where all of this money comes from.  Answer: It comes from lobbyists, people paid to influence government at all levels.

Is it a bribe?  Well, of course it is but it isn’t.  When a politician gets a 5 million dollar book deal on a book he or she didn’t even write that’s probably a bribe.  When a politician is invited to speak before a select group of businessmen and women and gets paid 1 hundred thousand dollars plus expenses that’s probably a bribe.  When the president’s drug-addled felon son splashes paint on a canvas, calling it art, gets paid a half million dollars for this worthless piece of splash that’s probably a bribe.  Does this open doors to the White House?  Probably!

Okay, Joe Biden was not rich when he became Vice President.  He managed to somehow grow his portfolio impressively and well beyond his salary while in the 2nd Seat of the Executive Branch.  Entering the White House as President has given him myriad opportunities to go from rich to ‘filthy-rich’.

So, back to my original thought.  Why do I want a wealthy man or woman to run for office?  Again, it’s because most of the really, really rich aren’t that interested in growing their fortunes to insane levels when theirs are already there.  A ‘less than filthy rich’ person will screw you every time.  A filthy rich person will not.

What am I getting at?  Governors, Senators, Congressmen and women, and presidents are all elected officials entering office for a reason.  If you see one who finished a term of office that hasn’t grown their fortunes, you’re probably looking at a good man or woman.  If you see one who has indeed grown his or her fortunes while in office, you’re looking at a crook!

A vote for the filthy rich is a vote for America.  A vote for those seeking wealth is a really stupid mistake.  I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
