SINGAPORE WOMAN RESCUED FROM DEFECTIVE TOOTHBRUSH

A defective Oral B toothbrush sent animal rescuers on a hunt that took over an hour to complete

Dateline Singapore, Singapore – Animal rescuers were called to a home where a woman believed a venomous snake had entered her home.  She recorded its hissing sound and played it over the phone to animal rescuers who quickly determined this was the hiss of a Black Spitting Cobra.

Rescuers rushed to her home and the search began.  After an hour one of the rescuers traced the sound to an electric toothbrush.  The Oral B brush is believed to have short circuited from water entering the battery compartment and turning it on.  The rescuers turned it on and off and the problem was gone.

Well, it’s nice to know our rescuers are quick to respond, and more than a little disturbing that they cannot tell a Black Spitting Cobra from a toothbrush.  I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
