We can't even trust our government to count a simple ballot
We live in desperate times, even perilous times. In today's world of high technology, space travel, cellular communication and life extension it seems we've forgotten the most basic mathematic skill ... counting.
As a lad of four I could count to 100. As a high school student, I could extrapolate figures and my algebra wasn't that bad. Amid the advancement of ideas and increase in knowledge it seems that our government has actually forgotten how to count.
Maybe they can do so if they take off their shoes and count on their toes as well as their fingers, but this is insufficient for counting ballots in an election. How is it that the simple act of '1-2-3" seems beyond our grasp?
If we can't count on the government to count the ballots, then our votes don't count.
I'm Max, and that's the way I see it!
