As we confront our struggles moral and spiritual, let us address the mortal sin of ‘state sanctioned murder’ euphemistically called ‘The Death Penalty’.
Says Doel Cam Nai; “The destruction of even the vilest of God’s children in the spirit of retribution, revenge, or judgment is murder.” Indeed state sanctioned murder, the death penalty, is evil. When anyone bound and defenceless is killed by another, that killer stands convicted and his final judgment will be a terrible thing.
Ceremonial and institutionalised state sanctioned murder is sacrilege. To be a party to the death of one already in captivity is a grave and terrible act. No one may take the life of another except in defence of life and limb. Pray for those who have murdered. Pray for those who have killed in defence of life and limb. Pray for all of God’s Children; the good, the bad, and the dead.
No one knows what is next, I am a sage. I am not a prophet. I pray for knowledge and I pray for wisdom. Please pray with me.
