THREE CHEERS FOR FLORIDA’S ‘STAND YOUR GROUND’ LAW
The ‘Stand Your Ground’ law of Florida is much needed across the country. Violent crime is on the rise since the Obama administration’s lackadaisical approach to personal safety and the right to protection.
When you or your property are in imminent peril, it shouldn’t be your ‘duty’ to run away and hide as it is in Communist dominions like New Jersey, California, New York, Delaware … and the list goes on!
The right to own and keep personal property goes hand in hand with such laws as ‘Castle Doctrine’ and ‘Stand Your Ground’. In this case, the thug got what he deserved. It’s tragic whenever a life is taken. It’s terrible when a family member dies. But it’s unforgivable when a thug is permitted to take life, limb, or property without fear of repercussion.
