In a country that murders nearly 5 millions babies every year, its clear there is little regard for the sanctity of human life. In a country that fails to provide adequate housing opportunity for all, its clear there is little regard for the quality of human life. And in a country where health care costs deny millions decent health care its clear there is no regard for sustaining of human life.
The Sage says, “When one discounts the sanctity of human life, his own life is thus cheapened.” Our problems aren’t nearly as political, financial, or physical as they are spiritual. We all must get on our knees and pray. God tells us that the prayers of the righteous availeth much. Let’s keep that in mind, shall we?
