DANGERS OF A POLITICAL PARTY

THE NEED FOR RICO ACTION

NOT EVERY COIN HAS TWO SIDES

What’s good for the goose isn’t always good for the gander.

Perhaps it was the ancient philosopher, Confucius, who said, “Every coin has two sides.  Maybe someone else has claimed credit, but I digress.  Certainly the meaning of this ancient quote is that there are advantages [pros] and disadvantages [cons] to every decision, thing, and even thought.  As we’ll see later, such is not always the case.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOT EVERY COIN HAS TWO SIDES

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For example: I own an electric hybrid car.  That’s a car which runs on pure electricity, pure gasoline, or a combination of both simply by pushing a button on the dashboard.  Surely my car is similar to that ‘coin with two sides’.

I do most of my commuting and run most of my errands in the electric mode.  In my part of the country electricity costs 8 cents per kilowatt hour which means I can drive my car 20 miles on 48 cents worth of electricity.  When I venture farther from home and my car uses up its electricity it goes into the ‘auto’ [hybrid] mode.  With an enjoyable duty cycle of 50/50 [the car switches from gasoline to electricity and back every 5 highway miles] which gives me terrific mileage.  In this mode I get about 70mpg.

Okay, these are the pros of owning this car.  Let’s get to the cons: As cars and trucks have become ‘computers on wheels’ my car surely stands at the head of the line for being complex, over-engineered, and potentially nightmarishly expensive to repair in case of failure or break down.  Electric motors, laser beams, mini-slave computers, a hi-tech 4 cylinder fuel injected twin turbo gasoline engine, sensors galore, and a fairly hostile learning curve for the driver make this car a frightening prospect in the event of repair.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MY CAR ‘THE COIN’

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let’s sum up ‘the coin’ of my car.  It’s a pleasure to drive and handles well.  It has plenty of power and costs pennies a day to run.  I probably put in a gallon of gasoline a month to keep the car topped off.  Con: I must use only premium grade gasoline [$5.60 per gallon] because only it stores well in the tank.  As long as my car behaves I have the very best of all worlds especially with gasoline at an all time ‘Biden-induced’ high of over $5 a gallon.

So I’ve rambled on and on about my car, let’s get down to the brass tacks of this discussion today.  I see political parties as heavily-weighted cons in American life.  The very existence of political parties endangers the American political system.

Both of our major political parties are corrupt beyond belief and those who register with these political parties generally have no idea of just what they’re letting themselves in for.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THEY’VE NO IDEA WHOM THEY ARE VOTING FOR

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s the nature of man to be lazy whenever occasion provides.  It’s the nature of man to let others do the heavy lifting whenever occasion provides.  It’s the nature of man to live with his head in the sand leaving virtually every decision of life to others whenever occasion provides.  This nature is as much our enemy as the political parties themselves.  Political parties prey on the nature of man as described in the previous paragraphs.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THEY PREY ON VOTER IGNORANCE & APATHY

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The US is governed by two parties, Democrat and Republican.  Any other political parties are insignificant blips on the radar screen, crumbs on the table, so I won’t even discuss them here.  Republicans and Democrats have, over the centuries, organized to such an extent that their very existence now poses a threat to the people whom they claim to represent.  They have become ‘mini-governments’ themselves.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

POLITICAL PARTIES HAVE BECOME MINI-GOVERNMENTS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Following human nature as described earlier, the existence of a political party allows the voter to delegate responsibility to the party without even a second thought.  The voter steps into the booth on Election Day looking for the letter [D] or [R] so they can colour inthe right boxes’ or flipthe right levers’.  They have no idea of the character or record of the person they are voting for, but simply vote by party as their parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and so have done.  For them, voting by party has become a tradition, even an ingrained behaviour pattern.

Weren’t the people of Idaho shocked when they overwhelmingly voted [R] for their governor only to find him far more in the [D] camp than they imagined.  Rightly named a RINO [Republican In Name Only] he has ascended to the highest seat in the state and continues to enact policies far more similar to those of what a [D] governor would have enacted.  This is a shameful error of the people but, as we know, voters have what they deserve in government.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BY AND LARGE, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, with political parties dominating the elections of the nation and people bleating like sheep, what can we do in order to raise the quality of those people in elected office?  The answer is simple:  Ban Political Parties.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BAN ALL POLITICAL PARTIES/ORGANIZATIONS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Legal punishments should exist for anyone engaging in organized political activities such as Democrat or Republican Conventions.  The very existence of these erstwhile criminal organizations should be prosecuted under RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] statute.  This would bring about a marvellous turn of events, those being that those who vote would now have to give some thought [however little] to whom it is they will vote for.

No longer would Cletus and Bobby Jo be able to zoom through a ballot sheet in a matter of seconds.  They would be forced to read at a level above that which simply allows them to see a single letter.  They would have to search the ballot sheet for someone they trust or at least believe to be the ‘least worst’ of choices.  Wow!

Certainly such a world would eliminate untold thousands [millions?] from voting, but that would be a good thing.  I mean, if you’re too lazy or too stupid to become even slightly vetted in your knowledge of those running for office you really needn’t pollute our system of government with your lazy or moronically simplistic outlook on life.  If you’re that stupid, ignorant, or lazy then nobody cares what you want or think!  Elections would naturally begin to lean in the direction of those who give even an iota of thought to whom they should choose to lead.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU WANT OR THINK!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will hearken back to Idaho’s governor as an example.  Had the people been forced to vote for a name and not a letter, this man would never have won the primary election.  For that matter, there would be no need for a primary election at all.  Idaho is a largely Republican state, and the voters vote overwhelmingly for the letter [R] candidates in every election.  This means that, having won the Republican Primary Election he’s a shoe-in for governor in the November election.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR PRIMARY ELECTIONS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Herein is the rub: The governor of Idaho turned out to be a bald-faced liar.  When he was running for office in his first election he made a slew of promises [never intending to keep any of them] among which was his primary plank; that of eliminating the sales tax on groceries and medications.  Yes, Idaho actually taxes its residents for the very necessities of life, food and drugs.

What you are looking at here is a man who openly challenged the intellect, memory, and needs of the people aware of their ineptness, apathy, and ignorance, and swept into office because people voted for a letter, not a man.  This ‘man of the letter’ was able to run for office, and now re-election, backed by a ‘RICO-likepolitical party.  With them as his backers the corruption of government in this small and relatively insignificant state will most assuredly continue to grow like a virus and further infect the lives and livelihoods of the people in that doomed state.

Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Sheriffs, Mayors and more have found their way to the top of the heap through affiliation with these political parties.  As long as parties rule the roost, the chickens will vote for them, and all will suffer.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THIS COIN HAS ONLY ONE SIDE

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strong evidence would suggest this pertaining to federal, even presidential, elections as well.  An ignorant, apathetic, and lazy electorate are quite probably what brought ‘Bumbling Joe Biden’ into office as President of the world’s most powerful nation.  We must ban and criminalize all political organizations.  In challenge to the idea of Confucius, this coin has only one side!

I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
