BYU HAPPY, BUT NOT GAY!

Church owned university holds to its beliefs

Dateline Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah -- There's a bit of an uproar, not a big one, but certainly a dangerous one to be sure at BYU.  BYU is a church-owned and operated university, an outreach of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The whole brouhaha centres around the university's removal of LGBTQ pamphlets from their welcome bags.  Welcome bags are given to new students every August.  The now removed pamphlets advertised off-campus resources for LGBTQ students.  The fliers were removed from the bags because their content is contrary to the doctrine of the church, hence the university.

Here's the bottom line:  BYU is a religious educational outreach of the LDS Church which is fit to run the school according to church doctrine and policy.  Whenever the press gets all up-and-in-your-face on LGBTQ matters it's overstepping its bounds.  This is First Amendment stuff folks!  When you let the Socialist Godless Media step on church policy and restrict church doctrine you are approaching a very dangerous line, not one you want to cross!

Herod, Nero, Stalin, Lenin, Kruschev, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, and a host of infamous luminaries in the past began their conquest of society by invading the church.  When government gets its hands on the throat of religion the end is in sight.

We at Max Allen Media support BYU and the LDS Church and all churches in their right to protection not only under the terms of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States but by simple morality and decency.
