Elon Musk said in December that he’s confident SpaceX will put people on Mars by 2026. That’s less than 5 years away! While the naysayers and pessimistic overlords of the press are poopooing the idea, let’s remember who we’re talking about here.
When you hear the name Elon Musk, you invariably think of the quirky super genius. You look at his accomplishments with battery development, electric cars, self-driving vehicles, huge automated tunnel boring machines, space efforts that dwarf the collective abilities of the world’s space agencies, planetary internet access, and a baby with a strange first name.
The hyper critical self appointed authorities in every field from aerospace to making chop sticks have opposed the dreams and visions of this man for decades and, always, he comes out on top invariably making fools of the lot.
As for me, if Elon says he can do it, by God my money is on Elon Musk.
