“SHACKING-UP”
When we hear this term, we are often taken aback at its abruptness and the directness of tone which so often accompanies it. In the dictionary we see this slang term defined as, “having illicit sexual relations.” Simply put, the two are ‘screwing’ each other even though they are not married.
The tragedy of surrendering to one’s base instincts and engaging in sexual relations while not unmarried, is just that … it’s tragic! The Sage says, “Sex is a two-edge sword. It cuts for good when married, and for ill when not.”
Pray for those whose character is so flawed as to continue to have sexual relations, out of wedlock, and out of the bonds of matrimony. Theirs is a very dark pathway and is fraught with Satan’s trips and snares. No good can come of “shacking up”.
No one knows what is next, I am a sage. I am not a prophet. I pray for knowledge and I pray for wisdom. Please pray with me.
