Our man on the ground in Canada brings us this report. Dateline, British Columbia, Canada – “It was announced yesterday by our provincial government that new measures are in place to restrict the movement of people within the province using the spread of Covid as the excuse.”
“People are expected to stay within their designated health regions. Failure to comply with these measures will result in a $575 fine. Check-points are set up on major highways between health regions within the province. If, in the opinion of the officer at the check point, your reason for travel is not valid, you will be issued a ticket. This ‘ticket’ carries a $575 fine. Also you will be ordered to return to your home region.”
“Welcome to the Socialist State of British Columbia. How is it working for you so far? I am apoplectic with rage however my socialist friends see no problems with this edict. This is a slippery slope to absolute control of person, property and freedom. All brought to you by the New Democratic Party of British Columbia and the People's Republic of China.”
This is as much a travesty as 1938 Nazi Germany where one had to show papers in order to travel about. Even Communist China does not have such restrictions. What in Hell is going on around here? Is America next?
