Dateline Evansville, Indiana – An errant donkey is back in his corral after over a week of wandering around the Evansville countryside. “He-awww” seemed quite pleased and polite during his all too brief freedom. According to all accounts he never made an “ass” of himself.
The donkey, nicknamed by this reporter as “Blue”, was peacefully wandering the countryside, scratching his back on posts, and just “horsing” around. Well as they say, “All good things must come to an end.” And Blue’s brief vacation came to an equine end as he was returned to his owners.
I’d ‘a given “a buck” to see old Blue enjoying himself. Oh well, my “mane” purpose is to salute Blue and his owners who seemed genuinely happy to see him back and safe.
I guess “Awww-lls” well that ends well. Really.
