Another truly outrageous financial debacle in New York! The wokest of states, flush with federal funds, has created a $2.1 Billion “Excluded Workers Fund” which provides unemployment benefits to … get this … illegal aliens!
The people we should be tossing back over the wall are instead being rewarded with cash awards of anywhere from $3,200 to $15,600. Yes, we are rewarding them for invading our country. We are paying them to subvert taxation. These criminals are working “off the books” and taking jobs from legal immigrants! Why should anyone follow the rules and immigrate legally when they can just slip across the border into “The Land of Shangri La”?
It makes me sick! The sorry bastards in Washington are allowing even sorrier sons of bitches in New York, California … etc., to get away with the most flagrant waste of tax dollars imaginable! Federal law has long blocked illegal immigrants from receiving unemployment insurance, but Washington turns a blind eye to such abuse and misuse of federal funds. After all “it’s not their money, so what the hell.”. By and large, legislators in Washington pay little to no taxes themselves.
Working “off the books” and being paid “under the table” is hardly ever prosecuted in America’s cutthroat labour market. Still, government lends legitimacy to the illegal alien shadow economy by providing benefits for people who, after all, are breaking the law and driving down wages for others, including legal immigrants.
