Dateline Elvington Airfield, York, England – British golfer Marcus Armitage has set a new world record for hitting a golf ball the longest distance and landing that ball in a moving car. Yep, another ‘stranger than true’ world record rears its most interesting head.
In this ‘new to me’ record, the ball travelled 303 yards and landed through the window of a moving car. One might say there were two drivers involved … a little golfing humour there.

The distance to beat was 273 yards, set by golfer Jake Shepherd and former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard in 2012.
Well done lads. Well done. I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
