THE SHOOTING OF MA’KIA BRYANT

To begin, this is all because “It's a Black Thing!  We have an obvious and provable case of ‘just cause’ in the officer shooting of Ma’Kia Bryant.  Ma’Kia was a deadly fiend in the act of attempting murder on another.  Now, the fact that Ma’Kia was trying her damdest to kill another girl [also a black girl] seems to have no bearing where the press is concerned.  All they can focus on is that Ma’Kia was black.  They don’t mention that the police officer saved the other girl’s [remember, she's a black girl too] life in the process.  That just doesn’t fit their narrative.

Had Ma’Kia been white under similar circumstances this story wouldn’t have made page 3 in the papers or more than a 10 second blurb on local radio.  Unfortunately for all of us, Ma’Kia was black and the officer who shot her was white.  Horror of horrors!

Police body camera footage and testimony of witnesses at the scene clearly show that Ma’Kia was on a rampage and trying her damdest to kill someone.  She charged and cornered her would be victim wielding a huge kitchen knife.  This was just another example of that Violent American Black Subculture I often write about.  Yes, “It’s a Black Thing!

This is a small but significant case highlighting that fact that nationally, the leading cause of death among American Blacks is American Blacks.  They seem hell bent on killing one another at a rate nearly 15 times that of White on White Violence.  With police killing far more white people every year than black people, the ‘systemic racism’ argument goes out the window.

Whenever anyone loses or takes life it is tragic.  In the case of the shooting of Ma’Kia one has to wonder many things ranging from increasing Black on Black Violence to non-lethal options the police should have.

Police must be trained and equipped to rely more on chemical agents such as Pepper Foam, Riot Balls, and Tasers.  Not one to second guess this officer, I am left to second guessing his police department for failure to rely on less lethal options whenever possible.

In any case, had she lived, Ma’Kia should have gone to jail for a very long time.  Violence is violence and racism cannot possibly be ‘systemic’ in a country which has had a black president, has a black vice-president, and has dozens and dozens of black Congresswomen and Senators in State and Federal government.  Systemic Racism is a myth.  The death of a would-be killer is not.

I’m Max, and that’s the way I see it!
