WILL ZAWAHIRI ASSASSINATION BACKFIRE?

Is this yet another horrible Biden misstep?

Granted, Ayman al Zawahiri was a very bad man, a powerful man, an idol to millions of radical Muslims around the world.  Was killing him a good idea?  I don’t think so and let me tell you why;

When Joe Biden surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban and al-Qaeda, he sent a message.  This message was that the United States and UN allies no longer had influence over the rogue nation.  For years allied troops had kept them in check, and terror was nearly eliminated.  Unfortunately such is no longer the case.

Taking this man out was nothing more than an act of spite and revenge.  It served no purpose as Zawahiri has already been replaced by a new leader.  As is always the case with terrorist organizations there is always someone ready, willing, and able to fill the shoes of a ‘now dead’ and martyred comrade.  Mawlawi Haibatullah Akhundzada has ascended to the throne and he’s far more radical and hate-filled than his predecessor.

In killing al-Zawahrahiri we’ve only opened a can of worms.  We’ve allowed him to become a martyr in the cause of radical Islam.  We’ve only allowed his successor to claim more power and act more radically than ever before.  Already there are terrorist training camps popping up across the Afghani landscape; even more than in the days before 911.

Says spokesman Husan Abd-al-Ra’uf, “America has no victory for they have strengthened the resolve of Islam.  We are stronger than ever and continue to grow in influence and size.  Mr. Biden will live to regret this rash and cowardly move.”

Joe, what have you done?  Don’t you ever think before you act?  Your impulsiveness, born of senility and ego may have put us in grave danger.  Thanks Joe!

P.S. The only 'message' this assassination sends to terrorists is that we really don't understand anything about who they are, what they are, and why they do what they do.  Another misstep in the Biden Book of Bumbles has been made.  I pray we escape the wrath of an angered terrorist body with yet another martyr.
