TRYING TO REMAIN RELEVANT

Pelosi’s desperation shows as she stages record photo-ops.

The sadness of it all is that Nancy Pelosi has absolutely no authority when it comes to US/Taiwan relations.  She is not the Secretary of State and has absolutely no more power in the state of affairs than you or me.  So, the question is, “What in Hell is she doing?’  The answer is clear, “She’s trying to remain relevant.”

In the face of a series of stunning and crushing defeats back home Nancy Pelosi seized the moment to make an unscheduled and unapproved visit to the Island nation of Taiwan.  Given the decades of tension between Taiwan and China’s firm warnings she disregarded it all because, after all, she can’t even get a full room for her press conferences.

Nancy loves adulation and praise, and this is what she gets when visiting foreign countries even these trips rarely have any agenda other than to make her appear to be relevant, which she is not.

The US military, members of Congress and the Senate, and even the White House warned against her junket but, being Nancy Pelosi, there’s never room to accept advice or criticism.  She knows she’s on the way out.  Regardless of what the mid-term elections bring in November she’s out as Speaker of the House and then becomes about as relevant as AOC or any other ‘squad’ members.

Enjoy your risky hey-day Nancy.  Enjoy the adulation and praise.  Enjoy it while it lasts.  It won’t be long now and we’ll all be free from your meddling egotism.  Ah, the joy of opening a paper and NOT seeing your decaying badly-embalmed carcass.

P.S.  Keep in mind that this woman has absolutely no empathy, no morals, and no scruples.  Her quest to remain in the limelight of these past three (3) years surpasses all conscious or moral duty.  I know, it seems like forever, but this bitch has only been Speaker of the House since 2019!  Pray her publicity-hounding stunts don't hurt others ... such as the people of Taiwan!
